Leslie Calimeri is a freelance artist, graphic designer, and curator. After receiving a BA in commercial art, Leslie spent six years working as a print and web designer and freelance artist in various marketing firms and design companies. She was then employed as the Digital Communications Manager at Chautauqua Institution, Chautauqua, NY, for nearly seven years before opening Chautauqua Art Gallery in 2018.

Chautauqua Art Gallery displays regional and international artists, offers custom framing, and hosts art-related events. The gallery also serves as a studio space for Leslie to create her art and plan public art projects.

Leslie resides in Jamestown, NY, with her husband, Joe, and two children, Sam and George.
